Bios: 13.06.26 - SELN MEETS TANUM SOUND SELN return to Glasgow's EXIT to join in communion with Tanum Soundystem for the ever expanding Celebrating New Industrial series. Sue Lèwig is German based artist originally hailing from Berlin. Blending post-techno, downbeat with industrial influences, her sound draws an exciting line between freetekno / schranz with an almost ethereal edge. Combined with mesmerizing live performances and soaring vocals, her music moves between hypnotic tension and an experimental techno energy. Following releases on BPitch, TM8 and Hector Oak’s KAOS it is a pleasure to welcome Sue for her debut UK show. Junior Loves is a producer and DJ based in London. Throughout several well established releases on the legendary 5 Gate Temple label alongside his own self releases he has showcased his own steppers sound which is both reduced, tough and highly functional yet laden with spiritual depth. Conrad Pack runs SELN Recordings label alongside DJ Gonz, where his productions explore the fertile terrain between tuff, rooted soundsystem steppers and high-BPM techno. His evolving productions for Lost Domain explore a distorted, hard-edged but deep and dub-enriched techno sound with echoes of Obscurum, early Downwards and Axis. Mellowdramatics is a DJ and operator of Tanum and Black Obsidian Sound Systems. As a selector their style is expansive and frenetic, flitting within darker mutations soundsystem music. Cutting their teeth at squat raves, they have since become a feature of the London club scene, alongside performing internationally including Ohm, Palais de Tokyo and MoMa PS1. No one turned away for lack of funds
